Denny Hamlin picked up his second win of the season as he held off Joey Logano, Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr. at Richmond Raceway on Sunday evening.
The race went into extra time after an incident involving Larson and Bubba Wallace with about two laps to go. Larson obtained free and checked up the observe with two laps to go, inflicting Wallace to get into the again of him and spin him.

It was a hometown win for Hamlin – and the 53rd of his profession. He already picked up a victory on the Meals Metropolis 500 two races in the past and seems to be within the driver’s seat for the NASCAR playoffs.

Larson picked up a Stage 1 victory and Truex received Stage 2.
